Yep, it is different in that there are zippers that run all the way up to your hip... So you can quickly get in and out. I have pants like your savanna ones but those you really can't wear anything...

arai helmet strap help
I just recently got an Arai Astral helmet.
It fits great all around..
But it does have a very big downside. That I figure could be fixed.

I would like to try this turning of the rear wheel technique. however, I tried it this weekend and I could not get the bastard wheel to spin at all.
