Yup, as long as as the grade doesn't exceed 4% mine will cruise all day at 70. BTW I still have the 14 up front. Never got around to installing my 13.

Looks like it would be a nice minimalist tourer right out of the box. 330 lbs wet with a 3.7 gallon tank. At 65mpg your looking at a 240 mile range.

You might want to consider the Alpinestar Scouts. Waterproof, supportive and comfortable. Only down side is the buckles can be a bit fiddly. Wore them on a 4 week Africa ride and have no complaints....
