I changed the pushrod seals on my 77 R100/7 last year. I did not separate the heads from the cylinders or take the pistons out of the cylinders.
8,000 miles and 10 months later all is well.

My math has the 90-90 21" tire being 17.5mm closer to the fender than the 110 -80 19"
