Most people agree that any bike that has been modified this extensively needs a good shakedown ride to find any kinks or bugs. So we did the sensible thing and took it across the whole damn country...

We are off to the Hogar Del Ninos orphanage today to drop off the donation collected at No Tuckin' Furkey Day. Also picked up some candy and a new soccer ball. This will be the BEST day of the trip....

Took the fuel cap neck off, and borrowed d a drill from the neighbour in camp to drill the valve out. That did the trick! We went to the Pemex and filled all 3 tanks, and did a 40 mile sprint on Mex5...

Yeah, someone posted in the Rally Raid thread they had the same exact problem and drilling out the check valve solved it. Then he found out there was a recall on it... Sounds like a simple fix.
