You'll be happy with the K60s. I run them on my GS. Brilliant on road grip with plenty of dirt bite. Had Conti TKC 80s before that and hated them. I reckon the K60s shit all over them on the dirt....

+1 on that. Exactly same symptoms, 200kms from home in the rain. Took off the faux tank cover, checked the battery, loose +ve lead!. Tightened it all up. Good as new. Worth a look, it's an easy check.

I believe the only difference between the lowered and non lowered is the rear spring unit and the side stand (and lack of centre stand on lowered version). Front end is the same between both.
