I'm a new big fan of Underarmor UA Tech colorblock shirt. Scheels had them when I passed thru Reno. Bought a couple and they keep me cooler than the normal synthetic shirts.

Sounds sort of like a really bad case of noise injection. Ferrite core on the leads to and from the HID ballast. Might not hurt to put them on the leads to and from the bulb.
