no not really. i usually use turkey hill (kroger's) - 93 octane. yes i notice less mpg w/ethanol blend. i add sta-bil marine formula ethanol treatment for same mpg as non-ethanol blend fuel.

you may want to use regular automotive grade fuel with the highest AKI rating. that is, if you're not already doing so. i get a couple more mpg using 93 octane vs 87 octane.

it took me a while to get used to the DL1's long legs. especially the 6th. gear OverDrive. and with a cruising speed of nearly 100 mph, its hard to find a place to ride without worry of speeding...
