Looking for trouble

On the centerstand, rotate the rear wheel backwards by hand. If it feels notchy, it's the u-joint or the trans output shaft front bearing.

Don't ask me why the test is rotating the wheel...

I can sure relate to what it's like switching between the LS and GS! I've gone between the PD and LS several times and it's radical! Those two are the extreme opposites of the airhead spectrum....

Only problem is turnaround time - but if it's not a total rebuild (as so many /5s are) it'll go quicker. I can stand only so many rebuilds at a time so they tend to back up.
