Great. A bit of wandering in the deep lose stuff, but it track's well. Going to take it trail rideing at some point. I have it geared low, 1st gear, 4Krpm is ~10mph. Save my clutch on the bad stuff.

I thought about that.
I ground the chrome off 3"+ on each end where I was welding. I sanded most off it off over the entire bar, as it was already flaking.

I've got a GS450, the 500 is better in every way and is probably about as cheap to own.

It will do 100mph, get 55-60mpg. Mine has been tough as shit for the last 3 years.
