Just with the bigger adv rigs.......it must be hard for a suspension tuner to get the correct set-up,so many variables with full fuel load to empty etc.

xr650r workshop manuals

Can you buy these non oem?,want to give the xr a bit of a mid life rebuild/freshen up engine wise and asked the local dealer but he wasnt 100% sure on availability.

Hi Chris,the a/f fairing was all ready on the bike when i bought it,it works well...keeps the wind buffeting to a minimum.The cost of the a/q gear is EXPENSIVE!,check out the website.Regards

Havent had any cracking dramas,just breakage of bottom mounting bolts (below s/arm pivot),fixed by useing sprocket mounting bolts which got stronger shank...

looks ok,ride and enjoy.Red grit could be from a rag that was used to wipe the dipstick,dirty funnel used sometime,or a seal that was replaced,got that rubbery sealing compound on od surface...
