Finally a solution!
F-it...I took it off. I had tried everything for my R1150GS and they all suck. If it made the ride any better, then the bike looked silly.
No screen and no funky lines. All I have is nice...

I find that now that I have plenty of appropriate gear, I no longer get cold on the bike. I have a heated vest that I have not even used yet. The temp is regularly around freezing and should not go...

What you need to think about is the wind buffetting. Do some searches on wind noise on the GS and you will see...
