No, check the connectors on the battery cell inside the tripmeter. I replace my battery but still same problem, then bended the connectors a bit more: problem solved.

I run them pretty soft, because rallies seems to be always in places with a lot of rocks :evil. But you still want as much bottom resistance as possible for those missed holes in the pistes.
