Bumped into this guy in Eastern Oregon

Looked like a travelling dog bed. However the dog was rugged up and had doggles.

Thumb another thumbs-up for Mick in Goulburn

He did my 1150GS about 4 years ago - couldn't be happier. I did a 4000km over 8 days at the end of last year and never had any sore-arse issues.

LWR got me in

I owe my motorcycle renaissance to LWR. I watched it and got pretty interested. Then I lent the DVD to a mate who went out and got a license and then purchased a 1200 GS on the strength of his...

Pacific North West - motorcycle heaven

Great RR. I've just returned from 3 weeks in the region. I picked up a '96 1100 GS from and inmate in Missoula Montana for about the same cost as 4 week's GS rental. Rode MT, ID, WA, OR and...

More interest from Oz

Having ground a 30mm hole in the LHS head cover after a long tarmac slide AND losing pretty much ALL the oil I know how much these head guards are worth.

Please put me down for a set. PM sent to...

another vote for 1 Off Motorsports

I bought a set (lo and hi) for 1150 GS. Kit supplied was OK but included one H1 and one H7 bulb (s/be 2x H1).

They sent a replacement FOC.

Install went well - the only issue was the bulbs were...

Enjoyed the RR. I recollect driving over the Tops in a VW Golf around 1978 - been meaning to do it on the pig.

Have done BVW about 5x over the last couple of years - beautiful country.

Wicked Stebel on 1150 GS

This was also one of the early mods on my 1150 GS. Around $45 for the horn and $15 for the loom/relay I on eBay as I recall.

I installed it in the void where the non-fitted ABS would go. Well...

Pegz

I've had them on my 1150GS for over 20000km mostly tarmac. They were the very first mod after buying the bike - I never felt secure with the OE pegs.

Can't recommend them highly enough!

+1 Coming up to 2 years of ownership of 2000 R1150GS - just the perfect bike (for me anyway). It had 48,000 when I got it and I've put on about 20,000 km over that time - just weekend stuff - day...

Very strong construction -...
