Thx for suggestion. I did try some starting fluid sprayed around the intake as the bike was running to see if it was sucking any in and raise the idle. Had no effect so no air leaks that I can find....

Thanks for info. Bike has 14k and can see that someone has been working on it here at the throttle body. Apperently does not get the screw driver sizing , concept. Anyway, here is what i did Easter....

Engines

All of the single 650's up to 2007 were Rotax built. Everything Kymco after that. The parrall twins such as the 800 gs, 700 etc are all Kymco's too.
Having said that, they are well built engines.

I do tend to ride spiritedly for the most part and that might explain the 6 or so Mile difference to the fuel light. I probably should take it a tad easier but hard. It is such a hoot to ride, love...

Well so far, it is definitely a better road bike. Smoother, better torque/power.
Lower of course. I need to find some time to take it off road but not going to do that since no engine skid plate....

Fuel stuff

Rode the bike full of fuel for 143.6 miles before I got the fuel light. Rode it to 160 exactly and refueled at exactly the same point in that cap and topped off at 3.2 gallons which gives me 50 mpg....

Picked up my bike today. Got mine from Toytech in Grantville PA. Great great shop. Can't say enough about them there. Bike was a demo bike from the Atlantic city dealer show and had 150 miles on it....

Just went through a similar problem with a friends 1150RT. Turns out the clutch safety switch was bad. Try jumping it after you look to make sure it is working with clutch in etc.
