Problem is, destination is about 8000 km away. And most of it is hard riding. I ended up ordering seals and top caps. Hopefully the work is finished tomorrow.

XR650R forks leaking from rebound adjuster

I'm on the road with my XRR and the forks are putting a stop to my trip. They're leaking from the rebound adjuster. Do I have to replace the whole top cap or can I do something else?

Nope. I tried it. I couldn't thread it in. I had to use some serious force to get the pivot out originally (20# sledge), so I guess some threads got damaged when I was doing that.
