aint that the truth. suzuki always known for best headlights. and the Mk1 is definitely no exception. otoh, Mk2 headlight looks smaller. i'm guessing not as bright.

older vee is lighter dry weight than v2, and has half gallon larger fuel tank. in addition, older vee has higher red line. otoh, a 650 is a 650 that is a 650. go figure.

AKI is octane

that is a myth. iow's, 87,89,91-94 octane is all same fuel. so, the flame speed is the same. the only difference is in the anti-knock-index (AKI) AKI is octane.
