Aug is very hot through Baja then as you get deeper south it will be rainy, humid and miserable! Perhaps a warm up trip up the coast to no cal is better for aug. mho. Good chance to discover what not...

Stop at border and get the sticker for the bike entry. With those things you can go anywhere no hassle. I did over 1k miles to Batopilas and back...

Yep, Nothing like the TKC's with a little air out of them on the dirt. When in doubt...throttle out. I will leave SD with new tourances and switch to tkc'S up there.

Lived here for a couple of mos. Don't know what vegas has to offer but Sedona is amazing. Great twisty asphalt drives but enough jeep trails to keep you busy for days.
