I would consider the DR200. It's just about perfect for her size. I think the 400 would be pretty intimidating. I've got my 400 lowered to the max and at 5'9" I'm still on my tip-toes.

I have a little DR200 and still love it. It's a little less intimidating than the Drz400. The 200 is fun in it's own way. I think the 200 is a better bike for around town and around the campground....

I don't think I my 200 would be my first choice as a long distance touring bike. I'm not familiar with the route but if there are extended high altitude climbs, you will have to really torture the...

The DR200 is the go-to bike for riding around town and around camp. You would have to work hard to dump it. It's a cinch to throw in the back of the truck. I have a ramp, but 2 guys can lift one...

If I was only so lucky. At 5'9" and a 30" inseam it's like climbing a mountain and sitting on a teeter-totter! Lowering links and dropping the forks in the triple tree barely makes it rideable....

I use the same filter. I think it is ridiculous to not have a fuel filter on any vehicle. Especially one that is ridden in the dirt! Also, the jets on the DR200 are tiny and prone to plugging up.
