On the noise end, the most annoying thing about PC's, to me anyway, is the fan noise. The small 80mm ones are especially buzzy. A good power supply with at least a 120mm "fan on-demand," or better...

R100 Crank thrust check

R100GS How often should one look at the crank thrust clearance on these beasties? I haven't checked the manual, but mine has 50 thou. Is there a routine time you should take a reading? Tx.

Any wisdom out there on basic (exhaust) valve life for the í93 era r100gs? I mean, mine is just over 50 thousand, and one of my BC friends had lost an exhaust on his í93 at about my mileage point....
