I had an 05 Superglide till a few months ago. 28k mi, bought new. I killed me to get rid of it due to health, balance reasons. Would have been 50k mi or so. 1 repair in 9 years- a turn signal bulb....

I don't recall ever riding a bike that wasn't fun. Car either, except a couple unreliable ones. Driving for 50 yrs, biking for 35+. He'll, even bicycles are fun. :1drink

My Superglide is the perfect all around bike for me, and about as close to a standard as I can find these days. I've got Harley's smallest quickrelease, 30sec on/off. On for higher speeds,cold, bugs....
