More power

I too would appreciate more power--something like a Yam 250XT, but I've got what I got. As I've posted before, I put the jet kit in, cut the airbox, put on a Pipe Bomb muffler and didn't notice much...

I have the least expensive version. The nice thing is it's cheap, unobtrusive, easy to install and if you don't like it, it's easy to remove. Not a lot of risk here.

No, rolling off the throttle pushes it back to the idle position. It is unobtrusive if you don't use it. The bike is so underpowered that it is of little practical value as I am constantly jockeying...

Seats

Thanks. These folks are even more reasonable. I knew about them before I chose Renazco, but I don't know why I went with Renazco. At any rate, check them out:

I too put in the "big jet kit," opened the airbox and had a bafflectomy done to the muffler. The result? 55-60 mpg, noisier (sounds like an Apache helicopter is chasing me), but oh that power...

Cookin' a DR

I'm heavy--well, fat. 250 and w/hard luggage mounted. I have a 16 tooth counter sprocket. I frequently run wide open to hold 60-70 to keep with traffic. At 13,000 miles, the dealer told me she'd be...

Mine too. I blamed it on my windshield (Parabellum). Mine seems to only do it once. A loud crack or snap that sounds like plexiglass breaking.
