They race them at the vintage races in Tooele, UT at MMP over Labor Day weekend. You get one or two sidecar races mixed in with all the classic stuff.

I use the most old school, big button opener I could find. Throw it in a jacket pocket that you can hit from the outside. I can just mash the pocket and I'm in. Works with my thick winter gloves...

For small parts I use the small disposable plastic bathroom cups. They are great for fasteners. You can write on them if necessary, they're cheap, and they stack up for easy reuse later.
