My Solo Riding Take

I rode to Inuvik and into Alaska solo in June. My experience was that all of the solo riders made a point to make conversation with me. Those that were in groups tended not to even acknowledge me....

I'll be riding up the Dempster around the 17th. I'll be on a Grey F800GS. I'm leaving Salt Lake on the 9th of June. I wish I could stay over for the solstice or D2D but I have to be back on the 25th....

Typical Mid May Weather

You should see low 80's during the day. Nightime tempatures can get real cold down to almost freezing. May is probably the best month to visit Moab.

Snow is headed our way which will cut out a lot of route possibilities. Best true route in my opinion would be the Great Western Trail which is mostly single track until you get to Spanish Fork...
