Went on a little 2700 miler last week. Visited 6 states in 8 days. Just missed the Klim Summit by about12 hours. Saw lots of folks headed that way....

Anyone use a k60 scout on the rear and a tkc on the front of their f800gs. My local shop said it was a bad idea. Something about different rubber compounds etc. May very well be true. Any feed back...

Everything I hear and read says the 690 is the ultimate dual sport. But I want a fe570s the same purpose. I love the 570, just seems like a lot of thought and engineering went into it.

ABS or not to ABS

I found a pretty good deal on a non ABS demo. So it's lead me to question how important ABS is to me. Anyone have advice on this matter?

Good to know. I haven't physically seen the bike yet (it's 12 hours away). Is the Remus a lot louder than the stock exaust? I'm not a big fan of loud exhausts.

I'm looking at buying a 650x that has a TI Remus exhaust. I'm curious if the TI exhaust would run cooler than the stock exhaust, thus making it less prone to melting whatever luggage I've got slung...
