I'm with Hytram, the motor just didn't do it for me. I think you really need to wring it's neck and ride it in the upper part of the rev range to get the best from it: but I'm not that type of rider...

Takarraka is the only place to camp except at school holidays when they open up the old National Parks campground nearer the actual gorge entry. Probably be a bit wet for the next few days though....
