Doin' any rallies this weekend?

Theres the Mo-Kan Guzzi rally in northwestern MO, and airhead campouts near Des Moines and at Wildcat Mountain, WI. Even though you ride an "oil head", as you've mucked about inside the engine I...

Car tire on 'hack speed up tug tire wear?

Just toasted another back tire in only 3k miles on the Quota that tugs the Motorvation F2. The F2 uses a 145-13 car tire, which I'm certain gives a bunch more grip than the 100/90-16 on my other...

Dave was kind enough to let me monkey...

And after fixing three blowouts on the sidecar wheel, a couple broken springs, and welding the frame back together, we made it. We also broke a bridge, but the 'hack slid across the rest of the way,...

MOA has priced themselves out of the market...

I'm 150 miles from the newest BMW dealership and the new BMWs are overpriced lemons, so no chance I'll ever by a BMW again. MOA magazine gives all of a couple pages to my airheads and even less to...

The high water probably saved us...

We sort of bobbed along like a big kayak, 'cept we instinctively leaned off to the right to keep the oilhead tug from sinking... Us. In fact, looked like the kayakers moved aside and cheered us as we...

That a 15" motorcycle or car wheel?

15" motorcycle wheels are larger than 15" car wheels, so a car tire won't fit them. If you've got a 15" car wheel, you're good to go.

Never braked hard enough to have it happen to me, but on the F800S/ST forums several riders have complained of partial and even total loss of rear braking on "stutter bump" like surfaces.
