I've bump started (rolling down hill) my 1150. Two comments about the experience, the method should be a last resort, and that bike is really heavy to push up a steep incline!

The previous owner painted the rear wheel black on my 1150. He did not do it to the front. I'm actually planning to strip it and re-clear coat it this winter to try and return it to a stock look.

I had the same opinion at first. Coming from a Honda inline 4, the boxer twin sounded some much more mechanical. It took me some time to get used to it, but now it normal to me.
