There's a lot of info on setting the tps. Check the voltage between the yellow and black cable. It should be 0.600 v, or very close. Very sensitive to adjust.

It should take 1/2 to full choke...

A faster idle when hot usually means a lean mixture. Try, opening up the pilot screws to 3 turns.

Basics

Do the basics first. No one has mentioned setting the TPS voltage. It changes as the engine breaks in and has to be reset after the first valve adjust.
