I'm same height and had a DR650. It will fit you just fine. I would recommend bar risers and a higher bend bar. This will cure the feeling of going over the bars when standing.

Thanks! That's awesome that they are enjoying it. We live in a large metropolitan and riding the WR's to get out of town really isn't an option for us.
