I ride with one 45L Trax on the VFR. It's noticeable at first but doesn't seem to have any effect on handling or aerodynamics. I keep the left one on so the weight is on the side stand when parked.

I believe this issue is only with the first generation Trax bags, as a2ronm originally pointed out. I have 30k of hard riding on my set of 45s and have never seen a drop on the inside.
