Trash bag in duffel

Thoughts:

Put everything a 3 mil "Contractor" grade trash bag, shove that in a duffel, strap it down tight. I've tried using a large rain fly that goes in the duffel but on top of the trash bag. ...

A little table salt added to a squirt of soap works pretty well too, the salt makes the soap abrasive. Cheap, easy, and it's already in your house

Since I either drink or ride, but never at the same time, you won't see me on that pile.

I've charged stuff at restaurants and gas stations before. If you ask nicely, pretty much anyone will let you charge your phone/camera batteries. I would leave the inverter at home.

put one on the KLR

<1000miles on it so far, haven't really tested it off road unless you count the 90/94/290 construction disaster.

Overall opinion so far is positive, better on the street than they look.
