look at the thrust bearing , follow the clutch...

look at the thrust bearing , follow the clutch cable to the back of the gearbox , it's attached to a lever . remove the lever and rubber gaiter , inside the hole is a bearing in a nylon carrier ,...

why not just drop the sump .the sieve on the oil pump will need cleaning anyway and you could take the sump to a garage/machine shop .

the u/j knuckles are slightly wider ( 4mm ) so the swing arm tunnel needs cleaning out a bit ( more like a good polish really ) .
