My valves were still well within spec when i had them inspected at 600mi. Mines a 2014, i wouldnt bother checking the valves again unless they were noisy or at the first real service interval.

I couldnt say since i have never actually loaded it up and mounted it to the CRF, i imagine the large would be a little too big. the medium is plenty large enough for the bike.

i have a medium expedition duffle and i use it frequently, though i have never tried on the CRF... yet.

They work well, hold a ton of stuff and are water/dust proof. A very nice feature.
