weather is crazy lately

Two weekends ago we went up and did some hiking and fishing at camp - 2 days of sunny and 65!

Hope you recovered from whatever you had.

Agree it would be interesting to see all the stuff, not just motorcycle specific. The other conflict is the Virginia FLy Fishing Festival in Wayensboro same weekend - I'm going sat or sun.

Thought about it

I wish they had a one day rate, I don't want to spend all weekend there. Looks like a good event, but I think I'd rather get some riding and fishing in.

It's funny, I read all the presenters info...

one of my Krista's is clear, the other amber

so that may help. Just not sure everyone is paying enough attention in general.

Interesting, I think running an amber and white (pretty well separated from my headlights and each other) does...

Something related to my simlar setup....

I'm been thinking about this for a couple years, my Clearwater Krista LED lights run low, then full-on if I hit the horn (or high beams). One concern I have: if I hit my horn to warn someone "I'm...

Ditto to this

I'm constantly amazed at the crap people are doing while driving (texting, looking at phones, reading hard copy stuff, eating cereal out of a bowl, makeup application looking in rearview mirror). At...

Phonic

Glad you're back on your bike.

Hyper Lites have some great options for LED tail/brake/turn lights. Top of my list everytime I get another bike, especially since I commute daily on the bike.

My aftermarket driving lights came with solid covers!

Just for this purpose. I put them on before inspection every year, then take them off. Clearwater Krista's, very happy with the lights.

Same weekend as the Virginia Fly Fishing Festival

in Waynesboro. Looks like a good reason to head to the mountains for a long weekend for a lot of fun. Only about 50 miles from camp to the Horizons meeting on fun back roads too!

valve adjustment at 22K

Did it a little early, three exhausts were on the edge of being out of spec. I adjusted them to the top of the range. Don't anticipate any adjusting next time around.

Nice

Brookies are my favorite, I learned to fly fish on brookies and spend most of my time chasing them. Great fun on a 2 weight rod.

I need to visit the Bullpasture sometime.

Nice fish!

I hope to be standing in a river waving a stick this weekend. Most trout guys don't share, but what river is that? Could be one of a couple I know that look similar (Buffalo Creek and Piney).

still icy out there, pick you lines carefully!

Still seeing icy spots on Hampton and Norfolk side streets, and of course the HRBT tunnel entrance/exits!

If I don't make it to the mountains this weekend, Poe's would be fun.

Is that a shock sock on your fork?

Seems like a better alternative than the more tightly fitting neoprene alternatives - less change of dirt abrasion.
