Living in Canberra Australia saw the bike gets fuel from majors 99% of the time... Probably 45% of km's are off road; I commute every day on it...

Final verdict

Ok, back home after about 1,600km's that included about all types of riding except single track...

I would declare this mod a success! - bike didn't miss a beat, lower fuel consumption trend...

Thought to do an interim update...

Had the replacement pump and Holley inline filter installed for a week now and it's holding up well..

Old pump came out looking ok, mesh filter clean.

Had a look... It says BMW 6x11 fuel c on the line, the bit of fuel line that came with the pump is also 6mm ,

Guess that means 1/4" is the go...?

And remember to undo and take the ABS/speed sensor out of harms way before removing the wheel. It's on the brake caliper... Can't remember the torx size - sure someone will chime in..

You don't need anything on the non sprocket side - it self locks in the aluminum block. Of memory you need a 24 mm socket to loosen the nut and a 13 mm spanner to adjust the tensioning bolts ... ...

I got the W@H bars on my F800. they are a very close fit (less than 5mm from the fairings on either side).

You have to get the get the spacers etc correctly placed to make it work...
