Thanks for the input. I actually measured the fork travel after removing the caps and springs and got that exact 8" travel you mentioned..I painted the yellow shocks black before doing this research...

Thanks, since this post I've heard from Al Roberts and RTR moto both telling me the black forks were an upgrade and the yellow shocks were something of an upgrade also you could get from the dealer....
