I have the seat set up for solo riding only, So in its current form I would say no pillion options at all with the Marathon set up.

I never take a pillion anyway so its not a problem for me

It must be the RD07 that has different fitment of the pannier frames as on my RD04 the hepco and bedcker frames went on easily and they are the same distance apart with the zorst sliding underneath...

Well I got my Hepco & Becker rear pannier frames to fit over my Marathon Panels,

Not saying it was simple as I did have to dremmel a few pieces out for the supports but they fit with about 15mm...

Reliable easy to repair or fix in most countries, will go anywhere offroad or on it.
