That disk appears to be regular steel which doesn't play well with sintered pad materials. A good SS rotor would probably have held up better but they are more $$. Looks like a softer pad is needed.

You'll be fine, I have that tire on my 300, the MFGRs sizes are a little deceiving. It a very soft tire, I wouldn't expect allot of life out of it.

The XRR had a fondness for rears too, the Desert IT held up ok and so did the 606s. There's better handling tires out there but a big bikes tend to shred most of those in one ride.
