Some engines just don't like some oils, it can't hurt to swap brands. Keeping the revs down might also help, possible 17 th sprocket for highway use if you are commuting.

It wouldn't be the heat transfer I'd worry about, but the chaffing. There will be wear between the 2 parts and a hole in the exhaust soon.
