Sustained 60-70 mph is possible (do-able). Any faster and your gas mileage goes down quickly and it can get a little buzzy. Because the bike is "light," you will feel strong gusts and cross winds.

The point being there is no mystery in how to design or manufacture a True Adventure bike. Both Yamaha and Honda did it 25 years ago. With no super-duper, secret insider intel, my guess is the demand...
