XChallenge clutch problem

Hi guys,


i was out riding a few days back, and the clutch mechanism on my XC jammed up.

On stripping it down it found teeth missing from both shafts.

Just looking at the invoice, the centre shaft looks like it was £37, and the shaft that runs in the clutch cover was £32.

The bearings and seal for the clutch cover were under £10.

Yes, it turned out one of the bearings in the clutch cover had failed, which is think caused the teeth and splines to stop meshing together properly.

New bearings and shafts fitted, oil changed...
