I bought a 78 CX 500 for $500 when I lived in Bradenton, FL. in 1996. Sold it 2 years later for $350 and the stator was shot. Yes, I told him about the problem.

I guess it's supply and demand. It's hard enogh to find a dedicated street bike instead of dirt or dual sport bikes for reasonable money. Unless it's a Harley or some other big touring bikes, they...
