Great weekend

The weather is going to be great for the race this weekend. It's going to be a great time.

Just wanted to link to that 'how to' doc again. I know if I had that back when I first started I'd have...

Good time

This being my first ride after a 3-month recoup following back surgery, I will say the ride was perfect for me.

I was able to keep a good pace but still enjoy the ride. It was tiring for sure,...

Do it

It's a fine enduro. I rode it last year and enjoyed it, although last year it was a 'national' format with check-in/check-out and no time keeping. Just go balls out once you check in.

The end had...

Another vote

I purchased from Gold Coast and I would never do it again. They basically tried to give me a screwing the day I came to pick up my bike...then they also failed to do any of the work to the bike they...

Important

Agreed!

I made sure my son had full equipment, boots, helmet, gloves, chest/back protector, pants/jersey before we ever started.

The boots are extremely important in my mind. Just as much as...

Way back

Well, it's not going to matter much for me now anyway...I'm WAY in back. I had to miss Scrub Pine due to a slipped disc and I just returned from the doctor, having him say I'm out for at least...

Be prepared to jog next to him. That is what I did. My son is also 6, he started last year on a 50 as well. Unfortunately, his is a KTM and there is no throttle lock on it, so he's able to whack it...

Amazing

It's amazing to me how many folks on here can completely miss the point of a conversation.

If you go back and re-read the discussion, and actually attempt to _understand_ what is being said, you...

Not yet

Nah, I didn't have the fun of the a/b loop. I was hoping to be going out of C soon, but now that they raised the points needed from 110 to 150 it's gonna take me a few more races. I pulled 90 points...

365 actually. This is why I will not bother pre-registering for any more events this year. Not worth the effort.

In the mail

Mine went in the mail today...although I have realized that pre-registering as as 'C' rider is really pointless. It saves a few bucks, but other than that we end up in the back anyway.

Sucks.

X Challenge

I have to put in a vote for the BMW X Challenge here.

The one item it falls a little short on is the large tank, but other than that, it's a better bike than the 640.

I owned a brand new '06...

I have never had this issue, but it is my understanding that if you do have this, you can select the 'Stored w/o Batteries' option when the menu pops up asking if you want to start the simulator....

I re-installed MapInstall and was able to then load the data I was unable to load before.

Hopefully this will fix it long-term. Keep my fingers crossed.
