There is an allen head screw bellow the adjustment knob, back it out to release the 'preload' ( free up the knob ). The comment was very small adjustments.

Laugh Not to be 'knit picky', but

If you look at photos of the SE and Adv.

You'll notice the SE has slightly different 'hub adapaters'( front ), obviously for the single disc break, but also you'll notice the fork guard mounts...
