R100/7-Ural Sidehack Rig

My otherwise stock 1977 R100/7-Ural Sidehack has the 6 gallon stock tank and invariably goes on "Reserve" right around 150 miles. Sidecars suck at gas mileage.

Yeah, if it was up to me I'd spring for both a new filter AND a skid plate. It's cheap insurance against ruinously expensive impacts. Capiche?

IIRC it is a 1969-70 Yamaha 80cc. I had one just like it as my first motorcycle. Back then you could get a motorcycle license in Texas at 14 y.o. as long it was a certified "Under 5 BHP". Good...
