It's pretty easy with a sturdy piece of string. Make a loop, hook one end on the frame, use string on other end, pull string and work onto stand. I use gloves for comfort.

At the shop I used to work at, this happened a lot. 8mm exhaust stud breaking in the head on the last port of a turbo car, at least one a week. It's angled down, so drilling it is a mirrored affair....
