Great postback!

Hi Erling!

Tack för rapporteringen! I'm not totally comfortable with my DJ+AT. The bike runs better than without it, but the mpg has taken a hit. Now winter is coming here, so I won't ride for...

DJs O2 sensor?

Hi Roger!

If I was to change my PCV + AT for this stuff, can I find a use for the wideband O2-sensor that is already mounted?

I studied the maps at megasquirt, they where much richer when...

Talking Dynojets answer - how they determined AFR:s for F800GS

"The recommendations that I have already given to you for Target AFR comes from general knowledge of tuning and based off research that we have done on many different vehicle models."

Reassuring?

Thanks Roger!

How do I reset?

DJs target AFRs, does anyone know how "good" they are and how much effort they have put into determining them?

Your suggestions makes sense, is this common...

Hi guys!

Super interesting discussion, very educational!

I've continued to experiment with the PCV and AT. I've changed target AFR from typically 13.2-13,5, to 13,5-13,8 broadening the...

Makes perfect sense! I already see such cell anomalies, with large differences between cells next to each other.

Your approach seem smarter! Reusing all those development hours from Bosch and BMW....

Really interesting!

So basically, the bike will run "good enough", if I would use only 13,8 AFR and the Autotune actually manages to trim the system so I hit that target? This is approximately what your BMW-AF-XIED...

Really interesting, trying to learn this! Do you believe that the DJ target AFR:s, the ones I posted, could be improved upon? Does the AT work well enough to reach those AFR:s? I'm a complete...

Very curious, checked it out. It never enriches to more than 13.8? Is it overkill to use DJ:s maps, that vary between 13.2 and 13.8 or so?

Best regards,
Mats

Maybe, maybe, it would take some trimming again and reworking the process. According to old answers from DJ, they only recommend blocking the hose. Nothing about the rest of th SAS, the solenoid,...

Thx Erling!

I'll take U up on that, saving map-versions. Didn't for starters but as one develops them they become increasingly valuable! :D

In one word - SUCCESS!!!

Been riding all day, really provocative driving. Slow, fast, low revs, high revs, even driving uphill in idle speed in 1st and 2d gear. Really pushing the throttle to extreme pisitions. It doesn't...

Didn't touch DJ:s map, Euro, Akra+Db, stock/modded air. Runs good so far, good gas response. When running really slow, low speed manouvering, the engine stalls MUCH easier than it used to. Seems I...

Edit: The idle-hop fix. Checked your Youtube-video, and the table FUEL. U seem to add from 1250 to 4250 rpm in column 2% and from 1250 to 5250 in the 5% column. I should edit...

Ok, I get it. But when will the AT learn and develop it's trims? Don't they get lost if you shut it down? And can one just shut it down? In the PCV you incorporate a setting if AT is present or not....

I don't get this? If you ride with the AT off, how is it supposed to "learn" and make the trims? If you just start it from a zero-map, would'nt it take rather much driving before the AT has...

It would be most interesting to see what ideal Autotune strives for and how many "inputs" it uses compared to the original. Of course one can study any pre-fabricated map and also see...

PCV works for 2008:s

Hi guys!

According to Dynojet all F800:s manufactured from july are considered "next years model". So, 2008:s made from july 2008 will work with the PCV.

Mats

What happened to your mpg? Can you still ride the bike and get low fuel consumption? Of course the consumption depends on your driving manners, but if the Autotune enriches the mixture on most rev's,...
