It was one of those plastic pan-type covers underneath the bottom of the engine near the front and behind the front "spoiler". One of those plastic plug connectors that hold it on had fallen out...

At 6'2 I fit just fine on the Stroms, but I would definitely have to strip it down or something due to the wind buffeting issues thatI have experienced in several test rides .
