mine is like that. There are replacement subframes available for $50-100 on ebay and other places. If I was going to weld it would probably remove it first, it isnt that hard.....or do what i did,...

The final drive and trans fluid were replaced...

The final drive and trans fluid were replaced twice by me. The oil/filter was fresh. The only items I would look at now would be the brake fluid and air filter (I replaced it once)

As said before low temps are generally not the problem for me with heated gear but moisture is, ice on the road, dampness in the air and frost buildup inside my visor from condensation.

I bought a 96 XR250R last month. After sorting out the jets, putting the unbaffled stock muffler back on, removing the snorkle and most importantly replacing the shorted kill switch it is now running...

I'll be riding up from Pittsburgh to the Finger Lakes area and meeting some guys coming down from Maine. We are looking to camp and explore the area on backroads, fire roads, maybe some fishing etc....

I am having the same issue. It takes about 15-20 minutes for the read out to move off 65. Didnt use to take this long. Any thoughts? Not a huge deal just pisses me off when I am sweating in AGATT...

No issues with spiders or insects. Once it gets cold I do have an issue with mice so I bring the gear inside or put it in plastic tubs with tight lids.
