Not un-common. The metal tabs don't just snap back on, you have to push them back on to get them seated. The pump puts out 50 psi and it will just pop open.

They probably forgot to initialize the ECU. There's some specific settings, neutral switch/side stand interaction. OR, they did, but selected the 'R' model by mistake (no electronic suspension).

The speedo cable will get pinched if not routed right. Flunky tire changers will not put it under the fender mounts. When the forks bottom, it gets cut. Not cheap.

Throttle position at cruse is dependant on load. I'm usually between 8-15% at 55-70 mph. Put some marks on your throttle at 8, 10, 15% and check it out.
